What You Will Do Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual / program risks Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start up phases of programs Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA) Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals Negotiate contracts Support program management and execution reviews Work independently in a fast-paced / multitask environment Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience 5 years experience specifically with contracts and/or subcontracts Experience with US Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Contract types Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust Professional, effective written, and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; be adaptable to a variety of business situations Experience working in an exciting environment and ability to multi-task across multiple programs and demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
