Food Service Worker

Available at hardycountyschools.com or upon request. Must meet the definition of "qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code §18A-4-8b and demonstrated competency pursuant to W. Va. Code §18A-4-8e as required. Must submit to a criminal background check. Must hold and maintain a valid food handler's card. Complete all required county and WVDE trainings. The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations. Additional minimum requirements: applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration. Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration. Start date: September 1, 2026 for the remainder of 200-day contract for the 2026-2027 school year. Contract days: remainder of 200 day contract for the 2026-2027 SY; 200 day contract for the 2027-2028 SY. Start time: 6:00 a.m. End time: 2:00 p.m. Salary: Based on the 2026-2027 salary scale B - commensurate with experience and education.
