About the Position

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating (Days, Evenings, Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location and 2 years working as a Traveler License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must be able to read telemetry strips - Required to float to applicable units when needed - Rotating shifts required for Days (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) - Night positions are straight nights Description: 41-bed medical telemetry unit. Skill sets required include cardiac telemetry, cardiac drips, interpretation of telemetry strips, TR Bands, and high-flow oxygen. Patient clinician ratio: Days 1 to 4/5, Evenings & Nights 1 to 5/6. Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI. Charting system utilized is EMR (Epic).
