General Laborer - Tool Steel Processing

Dover, NH | Contract-to-Hire | $18-$22/hr | Start Same Week

• Cut and process tool steel to precise customer specifications.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Read and use tape measures accurately down to 1/8 inch.
• Lift, move, and handle steel materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Transport materials throughout the facility.
• Receive forklift training and gain experience operating material handling equipment.
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining quality standards.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable participating in a hands-on working interview.

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, construction, or industrial experience.
• Experience using measuring tools, cutting equipment, or material handling equipment.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available.

You'll work in a steel processing and warehouse setting alongside a small team. This is an active role where you'll be moving materials, operating equipment, and staying engaged throughout the day. The facility is not temperature controlled, so candidates should be comfortable working in varying seasonal conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, NH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
