Remote Operations Specialist (Gas)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Remote Operations Specialist in Houston, Tx. The Remote Operations Specialist is responsible for providing 24/7 monitoring, support, and maintenance of power generation and fueling operations through various systems and platforms. This role requires strong technical aptitude to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and network issues in real time, while following established protocols to respond to alerts, document incidents, and ensure operational continuity. The specialist performs routine system checks, supports compliance with regulatory and security standards, and escalates complex issues as needed. They collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to reporting and process improvements, and participate in shift handovers to maintain seamless operations. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to remain alert during rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays), and readiness to respond effectively in emergency situations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in command center /NOC (Network operations Center)
• SCADA expertise
• O&G operations monitoring experience
• Experience with Cisco and Fortinet devices
