Full-Time Swim Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time team member who is passionate about helping children and families learn lifesaving swimming skills. Full-time employees are key contributors to our program's culture, consistency, and long-term growth. Those in this role must have strong leadership or management experience and enjoy stepping into decision-making, training, and mentoring opportunities.

Location: Wisconsin Swim Academy, Green Bay (Training in Appleton)

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Compensation: Paid training (8–12 weeks), pay increase upon training completion, eligible for ongoing leadership development

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time team member who is passionate about helping children and families learn lifesaving swimming skills. What You'll Do

• Teach high-quality swim lessons to students of all abilities using WSA curriculum
• Support Emergency Action Plans and maintain safety standards
• Build positive relationships with families and provide welcoming, encouraging communication
• Assist with onboarding new instructors and contributing to a strong team culture
• Maintain consistent availability for scheduling and lesson coverage
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development opportunities

Training & Bonuses

• 8–12 weeks of paid training
• Travel-related training bonus
• Signing bonus (lump sum after training completion)

What We're Looking For

• Leadership or management experience
• Reliability and strong communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced aquatic environment
• Commitment to upholding WSA's values: positivity, community, honesty, and empathy
• Willingness to commute to Appleton if needed
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Wisconsin Swim Academy is an elite learn to swim program that is dedicated to providing lifesaving Wim lessons to families in our community. We take the time to build trust and foster relationships so we can provide more than just a swim lesson. We believe in a Servant Leader's approach to do this and pride ourselves on our infectiously positive team culture.
