Licensee Operations Manager

The Licensee Operations Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of North American licensees, driving operational excellence and revenue performance across the network. This is a development role designed for high-performing operations managers seeking to build breadth in licensee relationship management, commercial performance, and cross-functional operational leadership.What You'll Do: Manage a focused portfolio of North American licensees, serving as the primary operational point of contactManage and improve licensee operational and revenue performance across the assigned portfolioDrive growth and market expansion within the portfolio, including onboarding of new licensee operatorsSupport the opening and closing of locations across the portfolio, expanding licensee footprint across North America in line with company processesConduct regular calls with licensee partners and undertake periodic on-site visits to maintain strong operational relationshipsCommunicate performance trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership on a regular basisWork closely with field operations, customer service, and process teams to resolve customer issues and licensee partner requestsEnsure licensee adherence to customer service standards and company policiesMonitor customer satisfaction results and work with licensees to address service quality trendsSupport and implement key technology projects across your portfolioSupport rate setting and vehicle availability management for licenseesProvide system setup and training support to licensee staff on core rental systemsHelp licensees track and monitor operational performance through standard reporting toolsSupport tracking of vehicle damage claims and related processesProvide support on billing and accounting-related licensee queriesSubmit and track technology support requests on behalf of licensees and the internal teamManage the department's shared mailbox, ensuring timely routing and resolution of licensee requestsMaintain and update content on the internal licensee resource site relevant to the portfolioAs required, perform research on billing, system issues, vendor information, roadside incidents, and vehicle recoveryPerform additional duties as assignedPerks You’ll Get: Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insuranceEligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributionsFull training to learn the business and enhance professional skillsEmployee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget carsAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and moreWhat We're Looking For: Proficiency with core rental operations systems (training provided; prior exposure a plus)Demonstrated experience in rate setting and vehicle availability managementExperience using standard operational performance reportingFamiliarity with damage/claims tracking processesExperience with customer satisfaction/NPS monitoring toolsExperience with system administration or user account setupPrior experience within a vehicle rental or franchise/licensee environment preferredProficient in MS Office; experience with Tableau and Salesforce a plusStrong working knowledge of operational rental platformsRelationship & Communication Skills - ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with external partners at all levelsPerformance & Commercial Awareness - revenue-focused mindset, growth orientation, and data-driven decision-makingProblem Solving - ability to identify operational issues and develop practical, timely solutionsOrganization - strong prioritization and time management across a multi-partner portfolioTeam Collaboration - works effectively across departments to deliver resultsWho We Are:Here at Avis Budget Group, you will be joining a team of 25,000 driven people, performing with purpose.
