Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Lead Technical Recruiter/Sales Executive Manufacturing | Medical Devices We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support a regulated medical device contract manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the site’s primary EHS leader, with a strong focus on plant‑floor safety, regulatory compliance, and safety culture. This position is ideal for an EHS professional who has built their career inside a manufacturing environment and understands how to balance operational realities with regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do Lead and manage site-level EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to promote an accident-free, healthy workplace Review safety requirements for new machinery, equipment, and facility changes Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across manufacturing operations Develop and deliver EHS training (emergency response, safety procedures, regulatory compliance) Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement Administer OSHA logs, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs Serve as an internal consultant on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, and chemical safety What We’re Looking For EHS experience within a manufacturing environment (regulated manufacturing strongly preferred) Hands‑on, practical safety leadership on the shop floor Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards Experience supporting compliance in a structured, growing organization Why Consider This Role Safety‑focused culture with minimal environmental waste complexity High‑visibility role with direct impact on operations and compliance Opportunity to help drive cultural and safety maturity within a growing organization Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Manufacturing Industries Engineering Services and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr Sterling Engineering
