Security Officer Day Patrol

As a Security Officer Day Patrol in Pearland, TX , you will monitor and patrol a residential community, remain visible to discourage incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule Tuesdays: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Sundays: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly, document details, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity at gates and/or access points, verify visitor information when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance‑related issues. Support community rules and property protocols through visible presence, courteous interaction, and timely reporting of incidents, disturbances, and/or after‑hours concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
