Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 Job Title: Closing Coordinator Job #: 5884 Location: Latham, NY Category: Legal & Compliance Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Description Our client is currently seeking a Closing Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities Review and organize closing documents, including contracts, loan documents, and title commitments. Draft correspondence, contract addenda, and occupancy agreements. Communicate with individuals throughout the closing process. Explain documents and contract changes to clients and assist with responses to negotiations. Coordinate closing schedules, locations, and logistics with all parties. Identify and resolve issues with closing documents, contingencies, and title matters. Ensure compliance with real estate closings. Calculate closing costs, manage payoffs and disbursements, and prepare statements of sale. Attend pre-signed closings as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all closing activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of real estate closing experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organization and management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
