Field Service Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide onsite and remote technical support for critical power equipment at customer facilities. This role is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, startup, preventive maintenance, and repair of power and electrical equipment at customer locations.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
Conduct equipment inspections, testing, and performance evaluations.
Prepare detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service and technical expertise.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
Provide emergency service support and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
Travel to customer sites within the assigned territory and occasionally outside the region.

Qualifications

Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, or industrial equipment in a field service environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
Hands-on experience servicing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems is required.
