As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant provides exceptional experiences for guests while upholding operational standards. You will oversee daily restaurant functions, ensuring that the team adheres to all established processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The person in this role will be expected to engage in the following activities:

• Fulfill all training requirements, including:
• Assistant Manager Development Program
• Food Safety and Manager Certifications
• Any additional training mandated by the organization
• Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring team members meet and exceed expectations
• Provide proper training and ongoing coaching for team members
• Develop effective work schedules in accordance with company standards and local regulations
• Plan and assign shift responsibilities, clearly communicating expectations and making adjustments as necessary
• Lead, supervise, and coach team members to maximize their performance and achieve quarterly objectives
• Ensure that service quality, product standards, and cleanliness are consistently maintained
• Report performance issues to the General Manager
• Assist in conducting performance evaluations and mentor team members
• Foster a positive workplace culture and team morale through recognition and exemplary leadership
• Address and report guest and team member complaints or concerns promptly and respectfully
• Ensure adherence to processes, policies, and procedures during daily operations
• Maintain operational standards and comply with all organizational guidelines and policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Utilize management tools and maintain organized, accurate records
• Other duties as assigned
• Exhibit flexibility to perform beyond the outlined responsibilities
• Ensure team safety by adhering to all safety protocols
• Promptly report any human resources or risk management issues to the General Manager and District Manager
• Escalate other concerns to your supervisor when necessary
• Perform any additional tasks required for smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours weekly
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of a background check
• Demonstrated leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a cooperative attitude
• 1-3 years of management experience required
• Experience in restaurant management is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, or climbing, including the use of ladders
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine motor tasks
• Effective communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing
• Ability to maintain effective audio-visual perception to observe and respond to the environment
• Work in conditions with varying temperatures and potential exposure to food allergens
• Safely operate restaurant equipment, including knives, fryers, and other potentially hazardous tools
