About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience License: Active RN license in Ohio Certifications: BCLS and IV certification; EPIC experience preferred Must-Have: Strong communication skills Critical thinking abilities Multitasking capabilities Travel experience is a plus Description: Provide comprehensive nursing care in a progressive care unit. Start and manage IVs effectively. Administer medications safely to patients. Monitor vital signs and patient responses diligently. Educate patients on treatments and self-care strategies. Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient care plans. Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate charting. Float to lower acuity units as needed to ensure patient care continuity. Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient safety at all times.
