The territory is expected to generate between $75,000-$90,000 annually; achievement of sales goals will heavily influence annual income earned. Additional benefits include a phone allowance, a monthly auto allowance of $600, and a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401(k) with company match, employee purchase program (where licensed), and paid time off. Job Summary The Sales Consultant promotes the use of Winebow’s portfolio throughout the regional markets, with a focus on restaurant and fine wine and spirits retail sales consultancy. Responsibilities Plan, execute strategy, and meet or exceed revenue, volume brand goals, and organizational goals as set by leadership and direct management. Grow the assigned territory with already established accounts. Generate new accounts in alignment with organizational objectives by using all available software and company resources. Build internal relationships with Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, Operations, and Information Technology to support customers within assigned territories. Cultivate wine knowledge through participation in all Winebow education assignments, meetings, and company initiatives. Demonstrate successful time‑management and self‑motivational skills. Organize and attend various events such as tastings, dinners, general sales meetings, and company activities. Help foster an inclusive team environment by developing meaningful and positive relationships with individuals from varying backgrounds and demographics. Daily Activities Make approximately 6-10 in‑person account visits per day using a planned strategy to consult with customers. Perform administrative functions such as completing daily assessment of shipping and A/R reports, setting up samples, sell sheets, and point‑of‑sale shelf talkers. Ensure orders are filled and shipped the following day, and collect checks from customers in applicable markets. Host wine dinners, on and/or off‑premise staff trainings, in‑store tastings, and merchandising accounts. Communicate with manager and other internal departments throughout the day to ensure sales goals are achieved. Expect significant travel by automobile in most territories. Physical activity may include lifting cases weighing up to 45 pounds, building displays, and/or replenishing stock in retail stores. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience in on or off‑premise sales with proven wine and/or spirits knowledge. High school graduate or GED diploma. Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated, solution‑mindset, proactive, self‑starter, and positive team player. Demonstrated technical proficiency includes (but is not limited to) iOS, Excel, Word, Outlook; Diver and Core Commission experience preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Valid, unexpired driver’s license. Pass required pre‑employment drug and background screenings. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and ability to complete the I‑9 form.
