Job Description

Join our dynamic team at an automotive manufacturing plant, specializing in stamping and spot welding parts within an assembly line environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals with forklift certification and recent experience to contribute to our high-safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift with certification and two years of experience.
• Engage in heavy lifting of automotive parts, sorting, stacking, and ensuring safety protocols are met.
• Collect, sort, and stack parts as they move through the process.
• Work with various sizes of parts depending on production orders.
• Perform duties within allotted cycle times and complete allocated parts within production time.
• Adhere to a strict attendance policy and maintain a positive attitude.
• Pass two online assessments.

Essential Skills

• Forklift certification with two years of experience.
• Proficiency in spot welding and general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a loud and heavy industrial environment.
• Must be coachable and exhibit a great attitude.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting that requires standing and being on your feet for 8+ hours daily. Wear all necessary protective equipment, including Kevlar sleeves, safety gloves, safety glasses, safety helmet, safety face shield, leather apron, ear and noise protection, and steel toe shoes. Embrace the challenge of repetitive motion tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.95 - $27.70/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Long Beach,CA.
