Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Sweetwater Care, located in Greater Boston, MA. As a key member of our business office, you will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable, preparing and submitting claims, and supporting our residents and families. Job Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Receivable, including billing, collections, and follow-up Prepare and submit Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Insurance claims Track outstanding balances and ensure timely reimbursement Lead triple check and ensure claims are accurate before submission Support residents and families with Medicaid questions and processes Post payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records Generate monthly statements and invoices Communicate with families, payers, and internal teams as needed Support month-end close and financial reporting Job Qualifications: Experience in a Business Office Manager (BOM) or similar billing role Experience in a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred Healthcare billing experience required if not SNF Strong understanding of Medicare and Massachusetts Medicaid Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) independently and stay organized What We Offer: Competitive Pay Paid time off and sick pay Full benefits package including 401k, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and many other supplemental benefits are available Supportive regional leadership team About Us: Sweetwater Care is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.
