You inspire customers and staff alike and steer the store toward operational excellence. Responsibilities Recruit, train, and develop your team, including the management team, on brand, product, and customer service. Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals while creating a unique and inclusive customer experience. Educate customers and staff on Lush values such as Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Demonstrate strong business acumen by analyzing metrics and reporting, developing and executing business plans that align with corporate strategy and improve KPIs. Coach and develop staff through Leadership Practices, encouraging learning, constructive feedback, and career growth. Champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) by prioritizing training and initiatives that promote equity and belonging. Manage performance by balancing analysis, experience, and perspective, creating action plans to improve staff engagement and performance. Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with training, standards, and company guidelines, while staying within budget. Oversee stock and inventory, using reporting tools to manage orders, reduce waste, and maintain optimal product levels. Create and execute merchandising plans that improve KPIs and maintain a clean, beautiful work environment. Schedule staff to meet labor budget constraints while ensuring proper breaks and meals for staff wellbeing. Qualifications Required 3–5 years of retail management experience. Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management. Excellent listening, communication, analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent organization and time‑management skills. Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills. Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends. Preferred Experience with consultation‑based customer service models. Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback. Strong record of developing retail staff careers. Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and adaptable to other systems. Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training. Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages. Salary
