STechwins is seeking a dedicated and experienced ER Registered Nurse to join our facility and provide high quality care to patients in need of urgent medical attention. As a frontline healthcare professional, the emergency room nurse plays a critical role in assessing, stabilizing and treating patients with a wide range of acute injuries and illnesses.

The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, critical thinking skills and crisis management ability to assess patient conditions, administer time sensitive interventions and advocate for patient needs in a fast paced, high pressure environment. The ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt to unpredictable situations and communicate clearly with patients, families and the care team is essential.

ER Nurse Responsibilities:

• Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
• Quickly assessing patient needs.
• Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
• Performing minor medical operations.
• Cleaning wounds.
• Drawing blood.
• Maintaining emergency room care standards.
• Assisting with insurance paperwork.
• Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
• Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.

ER Nurse Requirements:

• NY State Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Able to work under high pressure.
