Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking two skilled inpatient pharmacy technicians to support their pharmacy team on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing critical support within the hospital inpatient pharmacy setting, assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution.

Schedule:

• Variable shifts to support inpatient pharmacy needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of intravenous (IV) and oral medications under the supervision of pharmacists
• Accurately process medication orders for inpatient use
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Support compliance with safety protocols and standards within the inpatient pharmacy
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely medication delivery to patients

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with IV certification is required
• Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medication management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
