Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Easter Seals Greater Houston is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. This position provides exceptional customer service while supporting the daily administrative operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them appropriately while providing outstanding customer service.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office correspondence.
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference room reservations.
- Support employee coordination (badges, mailboxes, business cards, staff updates)
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Order and maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization.
- Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of receptionist or administrative support experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new software systems. Experience to include, but not limited to, experience with Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams and other virtual meeting platforms, Adobe Acrobat, document storage platforms
- Accurate data entry with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Experience supporting multiple departments or executives.
