Job Opportunity: Geriatrician Clinician Educator
We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified geriatrician to join our faculty as a clinician educator, focusing on the training of fellows and internal medicine residents. Our organization operates a dynamic homecare service that spans 11 counties in Northeastern New York, alongside an outpatient internal medicine primary care division that serves as the continuity training site for both the geriatrics fellowship and a significant portion of our internal medicine residency program. Additionally, we provide a teaching environment for medical students across all four years, as well as for physician assistant and pharmacy students.
Our geriatrics fellowship program represents a distinctive collaboration between our institution and a senior care system, featuring inter-professional training opportunities across various healthcare settings.
The successful candidate will have the chance to integrate a part-time home visit practice with outpatient consultations and manage a Geriatric primary care panel. Responsibilities will also include mentoring our Geriatrics fellow, residents, and medical students.
Academic appointments will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
