Position Summary The Rutgers School of Nursing invites applications for a non‑tenure track faculty position in Nursing Science, Center for Healthy Aging Research, Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. The successful candidate will provide leadership, advance patient care and nursing scholarship within the School and the Center. The role includes research in healthy aging, teaching, mentoring of DNP students and potentially undergraduate and MS students, and participating in departmental outreach. Salary and rank will reflect scholarly achievements and experience. The position is based in Newark or New Brunswick, NJ. Responsibilities Lead and conduct research in healthy aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and population‑based studies. Develop and secure extramural grant support; contribute to grant writing, budgeting, and data monitoring. Teach undergraduate, graduate and DNP programs; mentor students and facilitate their professional development. Represent the School and the Center on state, regional and national professional committees or boards. Qualifications Registered Nurse with unencumbered license in the state of New Jersey. Doctorate in a field aligned with the School’s educational mission. Demonstrated expertise in Alzheimer’s disease research and population‑based studies. Experience with grant writing and securing extramural support. Expertise in teaching and mentoring undergraduate, graduate, MS, and DNP students. Active visibility as a nursing leader via professional committees or boards. Preferred Qualifications Clinical research experience focused on healthy aging and memory disorders.
