As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Entry Credential Review in Breinigsville, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing online resources.
   • Email communication should include clear instructions on any assessments or tests related to computer or tablet proficiency.

2. Customer Service Experience (B219)

   • Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience that aligns with the role they are applying for. This experience should be highlighted in their application and discussed during the interview process.
   • Emails sent to candidates should outline the importance of customer service skills and may include questions or scenarios to assess their experience.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Control access to the brewery location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access control equipment, alarm notifications, and restricted areas for unusual activity; report maintenance concerns and security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
