Title: Compliance Specialist IV Location: Arlington Heights, IL (Onsite) Start Date / End Date: June 9, 2026 September 22, 2026 (Estimated based on 560 total hours at 40 hours/week; possibility to extend after 3 months) Schedule: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, includes 24/7 on-call rotation) Equipment: Client provided Interview Process: Information not provided by client Number of Openings: 1 Position Overview The Compliance Specialist IV is responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and administrative compliance of the company's 24/7 drug abatement program. This role ensures total alignment with federal regulations and internal corporate policies to minimize operational disruption. The selected candidate will act as a critical operational liaison between regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Monitor and maintain day-to-day compliance with all FAA Part 120 and DOT Part 40 regulations. Initiate reasonable suspicion, post-mishap, and pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies. Serve as a primary point of contact between the company and third-party testing vendors, Medical Review Officers (MROs), and Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs). Maintain detailed employee testing records, results, and follow-up actions in accordance with regulatory retention requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 testing coverage for post-mishap and reasonable suspicion situations. Process and approve vendor invoices for testing services, ensure accuracy, and maintain adequate inventory levels of testing supplies.
