Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gastroenterologist NP, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Silverdale, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Gastroenterology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Gastroenterologist NP, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Gastroenterology disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Franciscan Digestive Care Associates, part of the Center for Digestive Health at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is recruiting a full-time (1.0FTE) Nurse Practitioner to be based at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, WA, a 386 bed Level III trauma center.

• SMMC opened a new, state of the art campus in 2020.

• Our group of over 80 clinicians in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery provide over 76,000 clinic visits, 55,000 endoscopic procedures and 9,000 surgeries annually across Virginia Mason Franciscan Health locations. • Schedule includes four 10 hour clinic shifts.

• Silverdale is located on the peninsula in Kitsap County which is surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes and fresh air. Outdoor activities abound including hiking, biking, kayaking and whale watching.

• If you prefer to venture off to the city, Seattle is just a short ferry ride away.

Job Requirements

Requirements include:

• ARNP Degree

• NP Certification

• Active Washington State License in good standing with no restrictions

• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority

• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
