We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and machine programming will ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining efficiency. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately to produce precise components.
• Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, Mazatrol controls, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to optimize machining processes.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and troubleshooting during production runs to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and document inspection results.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols, properly handling tooling and power tools, and adhering to lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes, milling machines, or grinders in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with Mazatrol is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting mechanical blueprints accurately for machining tasks.
• Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or general CAD tools for design review.
• Ability to use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges for quality inspection.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, tooling setup, manual machining techniques, and machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), CAM programming, GD&T standards, and CNC quality inspection processes.
• Basic math skills including measurement calculations necessary for precise machining operations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity; ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely.
• Mechanical knowledge of metal materials and machining processes including lathe work, milling operations, grinding techniques, and tooling management.
