Job Title: CNC Programmer – Experienced

Job Type: Full-Time, 40+ Hours per Week

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in programming CNC machines (lathes and/or mills), with a proven ability to create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for precision parts manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Program CNC lathes and mills using G-code/M-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam or similar).

• Create, test, and revise CNC programs for prototype and production parts.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and 3D models to determine optimal machining strategies.

• Collaborate with machinists and management to ensure part accuracy and manufacturability.

• Optimize feeds, speeds, and tool paths for quality, efficiency, and tool life.

• Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed based on machine performance or quality issues.

• Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.

• Maintain documentation of programs, setup sheets, and machining processes.

• Ensure all work complies with quality standards and safety protocols.

• Solidwork experience a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience (lathe and/or mills).

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD files.

• Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CAM programming software.

• Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas controls.

• Understanding of tooling, workholding, and material properties.

• Experience working with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).

• Ability to work independently and in coordination with shop floor teams.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with aerospace components or tight-tolerance work.

• Background in conventional machining is a plus.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
