This travel opportunity involves working in a fast-paced IR imaging service located in the Kansas City area, with procedures spanning vascular and neurovascular work. The role requires flexibility to float to an additional IR unit as needed.

Responsibilities
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including sterile preparation and scrubbing for cases
- Operate and assist with Siemens imaging systems during interventions
- Monitor patients during procedures and support safe use of contrast media and other agents
- Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety practices per department policy
- Prepare, position, and transport patients as needed; document procedures and outcomes
- Communicate with the IR team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient case turnover
- May support spillover or light neurovascular cases and may float to the Cambridge IR unit as needed

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography license (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply after offer; licensure may be pending at start)
- AHA BLS certification
- IR experience: minimum 2 years with scrub experience required; 3 years IR experience preferred (large hospital experience; peripheral and neurovascular preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR environment
- May float to the Cambridge IR unit
- New graduates not accepted
- Orientation requirements: Orientation every Monday and Tuesday; must also attend nursing orientation Wednesday-Friday (bi-weekly)
- Credentials due: 1 week prior to start (Monday)
