Construction Project Manager

Ironborn Contracting is seeking an experienced, organized, and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This position is responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, budgets, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to our quality standards.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects, communicates well with both field personnel and customers, and can keep multiple moving parts organized in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

● Manage construction projects from planning and scheduling through final completion and closeout.

● Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

● Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and material deliveries.

● Review project plans, specifications, scopes of work, estimates, and contracts.

● Monitor project costs and identify potential budget or schedule issues before they become problems.

● Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and overall project conditions.

● Communicate project expectations, schedules, changes, and priorities with field personnel and subcontractors.

● Maintain professional communication with customers, owners, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

● Manage change orders, additional work, and project documentation.

● Verify work is completed according to plans, specifications, applicable codes, and company quality standards.

● Help resolve field conflicts, scheduling issues, material delays, and other project challenges.

● Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.

● Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, job costs, purchase orders, change orders, progress documentation, and related paperwork.

● Promote and enforce company safety policies and jobsite requirements.

● Manage multiple active projects and priorities as required.
