As a Family Medicine Physician within our organization’s health care team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the U.S. Army's operational readiness during humanitarian efforts, emergency situations, and peacetime. Your responsibilities will include delivering top-notch health care to Soldiers, their families, retirees, and other eligible individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as managing pre- and post-operative care. By joining the Army Medical Corps, you will contribute positively to the lives of our Soldiers and the nation, prioritizing patient care above all. Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
- Valid medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an accredited graduate medical education internship
- Aged between 21 and 42 years (with waivers considered on an individual basis)
- U.S. citizenship
- Permanent residency in the United States
