About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP or Director to join its Global Investment Strategy team. This client-facing role is pivotal in researching global markets and economies, analyzing data across various asset classes, and contributing to the development of firmwide investment views. The successful candidate will work closely with a Senior Analyst, demonstrating a strong knowledge of a wide range of asset classes, performing complex financial analysis, and writing regular reports on market events. Additionally, the role involves developing key investment themes, creating and maintaining databases, and actively participating in client meetings and events. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4-7 years in a related field. A background in finance is essential, with a solid understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics. The role requires strong writing and analytical skills, expertise in MS Word and MS Excel, and a keen interest in working with databases, websites, and conducting both desktop and field research. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are also key qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate will be proactive in seeking out new and valuable information and will leverage a robust network of industry and internal analyst contacts.
