Job Description We are seeking an Enterprise Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise networking and communications infrastructure and a proven ability to restore service, stabilize environments, and document resolutions in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities: Provide first-level on-site and remote diagnostics and support for network and communications incidents impacting health system applications. Configure and support routers, switches, load balancers, and communication servers per standards and change procedures. Rack, stack, and cable communications hardware, including testing and tracing network cabling. Maintain accurate and current system and network documentation. Coordinate with service providers and vendors for network and communications services and escalations. Operate under general guidance, interpret varied assignments, and make independent decisions on course of action. Perform related duties as required in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. 1-3 years of hands-on experience in network and communications support. Proficiency with enterprise networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and load balancing. Experience installing, cabling, and testing network hardware in data closets and data centers. Ability to produce clear documentation and follow change and incident processes. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with customer service orientation. Preferred Skills: Experience in healthcare or other highly available, regulated environments.
