The selected candidate will be offered a salary between $130,000- $146,988.00. This position is only open to candidates who are permanent (not provisional) in the civil service title of Administrative Director of Social Service.

The Administration for Children's Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well-being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services and community supports. ACS manages community-based supports and foster care services and provides subsidized childcare vouchers. ACS child protection staff respond to allegations of child maltreatment. In juvenile justice, ACS oversees detention, placement, and programs for youth in the community.

The Executive Director has the following responsibilities:

• Oversee 40 staff responsible for completing Title IV-E eligibility reviews and legal data entry and maintaining legal and home compliance.
• Attend all meetings relating directly or indirectly to IV-E eligibility and WMS/CCRS data entry.
• Make final eligibility decisions on difficult cases.
• Coordinate audit response to state/federal IV-E reviews and various other audits.
• Work with ACS Financial Services to research and analyze cases with eligibility/payment issues.
• Review document retrieval cases identified as "exhausted" and coordinate OCSE referrals.
• Help research WMS/ACRS mismatches.
• Research difficult cases and make CCRS changes when needed.
• Prepare Adoption Subsidy report; help recert cases, if necessary.
• Approve requests for WMS/CCRS data entry access.
• Assist with expired foster home certification process, make decisions on whether to stop payment on individual cases.
