To learn more, please visit Job Duties Provide patient care based upon practice guidelines, community standards of care, and Federal and State laws and regulations. Provide nursing assessments and interventions including medical, dental and psychiatric screening. Monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response. Evaluate, monitor and treat drug and alcohol withdrawal. Carry out prescribed treatments, wound care. Administers medications and vaccinations. Provide mental health services, as a member of an interdisciplinary team, to patients. Respond to emergencies throughout the facility; injury and illness; performs CPR when needed. Provide health education. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Requires current Washington State Registered Nurse license in good standing. Associate preparation in nursing science or higher-level nursing degree of BSN, MSN, DNP and or PhD from an accredited school of nursing. Must pass a security clearance, background check, pre-employment physical and credentialing. BLS-CPR for healthcare providers Valid Washington State Driver's License or ability to travel to various sites within Seattle-King County. Willing to work nights as needed to support operational needs. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. This posting will be used to fill all needs. Work Schedule These positions are fully benefitted, Career Service with a range of 0.8 - 1.0 FTE. Any of the positions can cover morning, evening and/or night shifts. May work outside of the typical schedule to meet operational needs. These positions are subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and are overtime eligible. Work Location The primary work location is at the King County Correctional Facility but may cover Maleng Regional Justice Center as needed to support operational needs.
