Experience: 2+ years in labor and delivery settings

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care to women in labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including c-section circling and initial newborn care
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergent situations such as pre-eclampsia and labor complications
• Operate specialized equipment like birthing tubs and monitors
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and personalized care
• Participate in emergency response teams when activated, adhering to facility protocols
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years' recent labor and delivery experience
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner & Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP
• Strong clinical skills in labor/delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to emergency team assignments
