Visit and explore our culture on LinkedIn and Instagram.What You’ll DoAs a Building Enclosure Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead complex enclosure projects from capture through closeout—serving as primary client contact, managing financials and schedules, directing field work and testing, and delivering high‑quality reports and repair designs. You’ll mentor PM I/II colleagues, uphold QA/QC, and act as a trusted technical advisor.Confirm scope/requirements with clients and stakeholders; communicate scope, roles, andexpectations to the project team.Prepare and implement proactive QA/QC plans; anticipate issues affecting client or SSRexpectations and address them early.Act as a technical expert to support BE activities; develop strategic plans and demonstratecompetence to customers.Perform condition surveys and failure investigations related to air and moisture leakage; designrepairs addressing root causes.Coordinate and direct enclosure testing; verify conformance with design specs, ownerexpectations, and codes.Organize, schedule, and lead meetings with contractors, clients, and the BE team to discussprogress and resolve issues.Coordinate activities across disciplines and contractors during design and construction; maintaindecision/action logs.Oversee project profitability—negotiate fees/contracts where appropriate, participate inbudgeting, and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.Identify, negotiate, and administer fees for additional services as needed.Develop and maintain schedules; communicate milestones and manpower needs; monitorprogress to keep projects on track.Monitor accounts receivable and initiate corrective actions; prepare monthly billing projectionsand budget metrics.Facilitate client communications; document key issues and decisions; prepare the final reportdocumenting all BECx activities.Supervise closeout to ensure documentation, lessons learned, and filings are complete.Mentor and assist in training and evaluating PM I/II and other less‑experienced colleagueswithin the BECx group.Who We’re Looking ForMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldFifteen years related project experienceProfessional Engineer or Registered Architect preferredPreferred Qualifications:Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge of project approach, systems design, and building enclosure systems (roofing,below‑grade waterproofing, vertical wall systems).Knowledge of building codes/regulations and construction procurement/design‑developmentprocesses.General knowledge of accounting principles and project budgeting/financial management.Clear written and verbal communication, technical writing, presentation, persuasion, and salesskills.Customer focus with strong negotiation skills, problem sensitivity, and soundjudgment/decision‑making; organized and deadline‑driven with accurate documentation.What We Offer100% Employee-Owned – Ownership from day one with immediate ESOP vesting.Retirement Savings – 401(k) with immediate vesting and a generous company match.Health & Wellness – Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus company‑funded HSAcontributions for HDHP plans.Company-Paid Protection – Life insurance, AD&D, and short and long term disability at no costto you.Work-Life Balance – Flexible schedules, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and paid companyholidays.Career Growth – Tuition reimbursement and ongoing professional development support.SSR is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerEEO Disabled/VeteransThis job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.Recruiters or staffing agencies: SSR is not obligated to compensate any external recruiter or search firm who presents a candidate, their resume, or profile to an SSR employee without 1) a current, fully executed agreement on file and 2) being assigned to the open position via HRJob SummaryRequisition Number: BUILD Job Category: Building Enclosure ServicesSchedule: Full-Time
