Position Overview

St. Vincents Medical Center in partnership with Southwest Family Health Center is seeking a Primary Care Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency Program clinic in Bridgeport Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician interested in teaching mentorship and academic medicine while maintaining a strong clinical focuswithout the responsibility of managing an independent patient panel.

Faculty physicians oversee patient care in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians within a supportive academically rich environment.

Position Highlights

• 90% Clinical Precepting / 10% Administrative
  • Approx. ½day per week protected admin time
• No independent patient panel - Clinical work is performed with residents predominantly
• MondayFriday schedule No weekends
• No call
• Academic faculty appointment at the Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter School of Medicine
• Base Salary Range : $250000 - $270000
• Sign-On Bonus Relocation and Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer
