Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience managing patients in a high-acuity setting with a focus on cardiac care. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration).
• Perform non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage care for complex cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a telemetry or critical care setting preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is necessary.
• Travel experience is preferred.
