Information Technology System Administrator

Role Description The Information Technology System Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jonesboro, AR. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and core IT infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure operations across the facility. Daily activities include monitoring system performance, administering user accounts and permissions, applying updates and patches, and performing routine backups and recovery procedures. The System Administrator will handle network configuration, support connectivity, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve system efficiency. The role also involves providing timely technical support to staff, documenting IT processes, and contributing to the planning and implementation of new technologies that support manufacturing and business functions. Qualifications Strong System Administration skills, including managing servers, operating systems, user accounts, and security configurations. Experience with Network Administration, such as configuring routers and switches, managing firewalls, and ensuring stable connectivity. Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Solid foundation in Information Technology principles, including infrastructure management, data backup, and cybersecurity best practices. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or similar) are beneficial. Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments, and familiarity with ERP or production systems, is a plus. Ability to work on-site, collaborate across teams, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
