Role Overview In this role, reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be the vital link between the team and the customer, ensuring smooth operations at the customer’s site. Your ability to respond with urgency, maintain effective communication, and manage technical aspects of the job will be essential to your success. Key Responsibilities Respond Quickly to Line Halts: Act with urgency to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly. Install and Optimize Tools: Set up new tools and adjust existing ones for maximum performance. Troubleshoot and Repair Tools: Diagnose, repair, and maintain Atlas Copco tools and equipment to ensure continued operation and performance. Perform Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure tools are calibrated and operating at peak efficiency. Communicate Effectively: Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, addressing their needs with professionalism and responsiveness. Schedule: 1st shift (6 am‑2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday) with occasional overtime. Flexibility is essential as schedules may change based on company needs. Reports daily to Tesla facility in Austin, TX. Required Qualifications Experience: 2‑3 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems. Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting abilities. Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and comprehend schematics; proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
