Position Overview

RC Maintenance Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role will play a key part in employee lifecycle management, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations support, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys providing exceptional service to employees across multiple locations.

 

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
• Strong understanding of HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration
• Experience supporting leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee leave programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience maintaining confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with employee benefits administration, including 401(k) plans and employee health and welfare programs
• Support leave administration processes, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and workers' compensation
• Coordinate recruiting efforts, candidate tracking, interviewing, and onboarding activities
• Respond to employee HR-related questions and provide excellent customer service
• Conduct background checks and employment verification processes
• Assist with employee separations and performance review administration
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy
• Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related events
• Prepare correspondence, employee files, and HR documentation
• Perform administrative and clerical duties, including filing, scanning, mailing, and record maintenance

 

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
• Previous experience working within the construction, maintenance, facilities, or field services industry
• Knowledge of California and Texas employment laws
• Experience supporting a multi-location workforce
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
• Experience with benefits enrollment and compliance reporting processes
• Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
