Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 7 PM to 7:30 AM, weekends only (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday).

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The successful candidate will have the potential to float to various units as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement patient-specific care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options
• Participate in professional development and continuing education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Must have 18 months of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• One supervisory reference in the specialty required for submission.
