Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities Supplier Qualification & Certification: Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers according to strict company standards. Administer and oversee the Certified Supplier Program within the receiving inspection department to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Quality Monitoring & Lifecycle Tracking: Monitor incoming parts and materials from initial acquisition through the entire manufacturing cycle. Actively identify, communicate, and resolve supplier-related quality issues as they arise. Auditing & Compliance: Develop, prioritize, and execute a comprehensive supplier auditing schedule. Ensure designated suppliers are audited regularly to guarantee compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and corporate quality standards. Performance Evaluation & Feedback: Assess suppliers' internal functions and overall operational performance. Analyze quality metrics, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback to suppliers to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related technical field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or a highly regulated production environment. Auditing Expertise: Proven experience conducting supplier audits; familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) , ISO standards, or industry-specific regulations is highly preferred. Problem-Solving: Strong root-cause analysis skills (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, 8D problem-solving). Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and collaborate across internal manufacturing teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
