Restaurant General Manager

Our Restaurant operates neighborhood restaurants in Grand Blanc where people gather, celebrate, and come back. As Restaurant General Manager you own the four walls: sales, costs, people, and the guest experience. Your results directly shape the partnership’s growth and the community’s favorite table.

Performance Objectives

• Increase comparable sales 8–12% year-over-year through local marketing, menu mix optimization, and loyalty-program execution.
• Hold food and labor costs within 1 point of budget while protecting quality and speed of service.
• Achieve and sustain 90+ guest-satisfaction scores by coaching every shift and closing service gaps in real time.
• Reduce annual hourly turnover below 50% by hiring, training, and recognizing a high-performing team of 40–60.
• Develop at least two assistant managers ready for promotion within 18 months.
• Maintain 100% health, safety, and brand-standard compliance with zero critical violations.
• Deliver annual EBITDA at or above plan and present a rolling 90-day action forecast each quarter.

Environment & Resources

You report to the Area Director and lead all restaurant managers and hourly staff. You receive full P&L authority, a dedicated training budget, standard POS/inventory systems, and weekly support from the operations team. Decision-making stays local so you can move fast for guests and the Flint community.

Essential Qualifications

• 4+ years as General Manager of a full-service, high-volume restaurant with documented P&L ownership.
• Proven track record of growing sales and controlling costs in a competitive casual-dining market.
• Experience building and retaining teams of 40+ with measurable reductions in turnover.
• Ability to coach service standards that consistently produce 90+ guest scores.
• Hands-on fluency with POS, inventory, and labor-management systems.
