Project Manager Location: Sumner, WA; Travel required. Coordinates all program‑related activities—including engineering, tooling, production, schedule, status, and quality—for the sunset process and holds overall responsibility for program performance. Responsibilities Examine tools, production finished goods, and performance requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy. Prepare progress reports and exhibits required for the sunset process. Administer tool return process. Maintain program status and ensure customer orders are entered into the ERP system. Support performance by addressing obstacles that may impact rates and requirements. Resolve questions, discrepancies, or issues that arise internally or from the customer; problem‑solve order‑related issues and address scheduling, expedite requests. Required Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills for external and internal interactions. Ability to provide direction to Program Administrators. Strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw solid conclusions. Ability to interpret limited technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage several abstract and concrete variables. Expert problem‑solving abilities. Intermediate presentation, ERP/database management, Microsoft Office, and computer operation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience interpreting extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Knowledge of development and product life‑cycle gates. University degree (B.A.) from a four‑year institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience Three or more years progressive experience in Project Management, Business, Administration, Engineering, or an equivalent field demonstrating strong management abilities. Previous experience in DOD or Aerospace preferred. Experience with international customers and supply chains. Working Conditions Extended periods of sitting at a desk in an office environment. Work primarily indoors; sites may not be temperature‑controlled. Exposure to moderate noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment and contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requirement to lift, push, pull, or bend objects up to 50 lbs. Standing or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies by role, shift, or overtime).
