Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 484159

A rapidly growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning month-end close activities, financial reporting, and process improvement while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP , experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations, and the ability to analyze financial data to support business decisions. 

This is a contract (3-6 months), hybrid position that can start very quickly. 

W2 applicants only. No C2C or third-party submissions.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries
• Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages
• Analyze revenue, expense, and balance sheet activity
• Conduct variance and flux analyses
• Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Maintain accurate financial records and support ad hoc accounting projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex spreadsheets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
