Dental Assistant Position

Oral Surgery practice looking for a full time dynamic X-ray certified dental Assistant to work our 2 locations ( Bowie and Upper Marlboro) . Must have excellent organization skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and major attention to detail. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Take Digital X-rays (2D and 3D)
• Set up and assist with all oral surgery procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, IV sedation cases
• sterilize instruments and clean operatories according to state / federal guidelines
• Review and complete medical history/registration forms and chart doctor notes
• Obtain vital signs and chart/ consent forms
• Obtain consent forms for the procedure
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Clean dental treatment rooms according to State, OSHA and Federal Guidelines
• Stock Dental treatment rooms
• Proven experience as a dental assistant
• Understanding of health & safety regulation’s
• Good computer skills

Experience:
• Dental Assistants 1 year Required

License/Certification:
• X-Ray Certification Required
Cpr certification
