You will be mainly accountable for:Lead HSE Culture & Compliance: Serve as the primary HSE liaison, embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental culture while ensuring organizational compliance with local regulations and ABB HSE standards.Strengthen HSE Capability & Risk Management: Optimize HSE processes and tools, oversee risk assessments, and ensure effective implementation of controls, preventive measures, and learning programs.Drive Incident Management & Continuous Improvement: Ensure timely reporting, investigation, and communication of incidents, sharing lessons learned and best practices to drive behavioral change and continual improvement.Monitor Performance & Manage Resources: Track and report HSE performance against KPIs and objectives, support budgeting for the function, and manage resources to meet financial and operational targets.Qualifications for the role:Bachelor’s (preferred) OR Associates' Degree in health and safety or a related discipline and minimum 8 years experience including 5 years in industrial supervision and/or training.Preferred Experience / Certifications: CISP, CSP, First Aid, OSHA 10 hour, OSHA 30 hour, Leans Six Sigma, ISO.Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us:ABB’s NEMA Motors Division is the global leading electric NEMA motors manufacturer.
