Education Must have completed at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in Economics and hold a Master’s degree (official transcript(s) conferring degree must accompany the application). Experience Minimum of one (1) year of college level teaching experience or five (5) to ten (10) years of related work experience required. Experience teaching Economics and preparing curriculum material desired. Teaching experience at the college level preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Willing and able to teach day or evening classes at a number of sites around the city. Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer usage and software are required, including Blackboard Vista, or similar online software. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse professional, community, and student population. Possess good organizational and planning skills. Demonstrate sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning‑centered environment. Self‑disciplined and able to effectively manage others.
