Controllership Accountant II

Controllership Accountant Position: Controllership Accountant (Hybrid) – Austin, TX / Orange, CA / Sacramento, CA. This role combines remote and in‑office work and requires a strong foundation in US GAAP accounting. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages. Process invoices, payments, and monthly journal entries. Monitor, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Collaborate with internal customers to gather and provide information. Maintain accounting controls and company policies. Prepare departmental reporting and reconciliations as assigned. Minimum Requirements BA/BS degree and 2 years of accounting experience or equivalent education/experience. Understanding of US GAAP financial reporting fundamentals. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with Oracle (or similar financial systems). Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF, Macros). Ability to meet deadlines, analyze data, and communicate findings. Self‑starter who works independently and handles multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
